Modern Vespa

nice one!

I have eaten there once before. From what I remember the food was decent, but not great. The reason to go is for the singing waiters and the ambiance though.

New tag will be up later tonight, gotta think about where I want to drive to on the way home . . .

The food is okay, kind of old school Italian pastas and pizza for about as much as you'd spend someplace like Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. You could probably find better neighborhood Italian, but I've never disliked a meal here. The atmosphere is genuinely kitschy, not "this is our post-ironic modern trendster interpretation of kitsch." Still, if you're going for the atmosphere, the Hollywood Miceli's has it in spades. It's bigger, darker, cheesier, with a basement bar. One of those places to bring out of town friends and relatives from places which don't have much better Italian food.

Years ago they had a better painting of the scooter. Now its dorky. I know where it is, but im not playing so Im not telling.

Maybe I'm confusing my locations-there's one in Hollywood (Las Palmas right off HOllywood Blvd.) and there's also one on Cahuenga in NoHo not far from Lankershim. I thought the photo was the Cahuenga one...

he moved out for a while when his wife found out about the mistress . . . but i think he's back . . . still see his police escort parked there quite frequently

It's just off Wilshire between Western and Rossmore. Anybody just tag it!

especially a none vespa mirror drew. Shouldnt matter, its not like he went there in his car, pulled out a mirror from one pocket and then a camera from another. Dres is a stand up, cool mofo.

glad to see Drew got Tony Villar's house tagged. I was in broken spirits after crossing town for two different tags and then beaten back to the 'puter... Off for a week in Canada but I will be back with a new found faith in scooter tag. lol. weeeeeeeell, maybe I can make time for a "play-date" to tag this one before I have to leave Sunday morning. hmmmmmmm! tempting ... so goes the lure of LA scooter tag.

Thanks, bro! I do happen to know that Nyle drove a truck to a scooter tag spot once and pulled out a little scoot model for the shot.. None of that here! You can see the arm of my blue Corazzo 5.0 in the mirror as well. I was actually trying to take the pic fast, because there was a particular gentleman there asking me to move along.. heh heh..

i was joking - i would never doubt drews integrity here.
