At the airport here, the officers use two wheel sedgways. That third wheel is new to me.

My first thought was it looked like a Segway for the balance challenged; but then I thought it is probably much cheaper to build that without all the complex sensors needed for a Segway to work.

I had a hunch it might be a Doctor Who thing. I have never watched it but I have a brother who likes it and I have heard him discussing the show with one of my nephews.

The Jacksonville, Fl Vespa recently sold two MP3 500s to the City Of Savanna Police department. These were reportedly specially constructed for police use. Beefed up electrical system, etc..

I was in the Mid Town Atlanta Scooter Superstore last Sunday. They had 2 MP3 250s with Savanah Police Department markings and lights. Not sure of any other modifications. No keys in them so could not look under seat. Salesman on duty did was not sure why they were there.

You see in the news a lot about how the Highway Patrol is burning gas on its daily patrols. I see this as a new approach to Police Patrol with it being low cost on fuel. Then after this era, we will probably revert to the "Mad Max" syndrome.

I like that police version - nice. It would stop the chases, since the criminals would be too busy looking in the rearview mirrors to get away!

OMG I LOVE THAT DESIGN. Its the first real 'custom paint' detailed pic I've seen on here. Now I will have to rethink my designs so far...White base with racing stripes is probably getting added to the list

Cops: 3 wheels

I just seen these 3 wheel scooters yesterday at a parade in my city.They were in a parade,3 of them with cops onboard them.Look like a hoot to ride. I want one,oh nevermind there electric.....
