OK, so I have these patches I want to get onto my leather jacket. I first went to the sewing stor and brought a leather neddle and then tried to sew them on. I now offically hate sewing on leather. It was quite hard and looked crappy so I took the stiches out.
My question for the group: I know that you are not supposed to iorn the patches on (distroys the leather or something) but is there another way of glueing them on (rubber cement or crazy glue) where I don't have to sew them on?

Thanks.

Best bet--take it to a good shoe/leather repair place and pay them to do it

Any other thoughts out there?

+1 for a shoe repair or leather store. Sewing on leather is a huge pain. I can do it but I still prefer to pay others. This is especially true if it is a BIG patch as a good leather shop will remove the liner, sew the patch on, then sew the liner back together.

The iron-on stuff or "liquid sewing" stuff doesn't work well and you'll loose the patches and have goo on your jacket.

You can use snap rivets, the patches can be removed anytime you like. I used sew on snaps for my mesh jacket.
