At the Concourse D' Elegance today in Monterey.
Rolf Soltau, who was one of the judges in the vintage motorcycle class, took 1st place with his pristine 1958 GS150. He also took another 1st place with his T5 in the over 150cc class. Will have to wait a week to buy him a beer as he is representing Piaggio in the week long Moto Geo riding the T5 starting tomorrow. Just say'n..... 8)  8) 8) 8) I am sure I speak for all my clubbies when I say...."he da man"!!! R 8) |

You know our hearts sank when we saw Mr Rolf wheeling in the GS.....
Had a great time there today (the reason I blew off Tahoe) and will be following the Giro ride tomorrow from Cannery Row and Monday down the coast. Here's a pic of some of the Monterey locals lineup (mine is the green one) and the real stars of the show, the Italian lightweight racers, man they were gorgeous. A whole new addiction just waiting.....
