Modern Vespa

well, i've had the vespa for about a month now and i am finally getting used to driving her slowly but surely (i'm taking the MSF class at the end of july). i started around the side streets and took her bout 20 miles (backroads) yesterday. i couldn't get the smile off of my face! i just wanted to let you guys know my progress and also let you know that when i'm not riding her, i'm looking at her, or i'm on MV reading up and expanding my knowledge. you guys are great (most of you, some are hard on new people), and i'm happy to be a part of this community.

i requested a scooter. i figure if i drop it, i don't want it to be mine!

Excellent idea. At the very least, you'll be more willing to take chances. This is your best opportunity to do that since it's in a controlled setting.
