I went to Utila in the Bay Islands of Honduras last month and thought Id post some scooter pics. Not a Vespa to be seen. The major roads are only about 8 feet wide and currently torn up for a major sewer project. There are no rules here except that cars and trucks always win, then golf carts, then scooters, then pedestrians, then pets. I didnt dare ride one there.
I saw Honduran police riding 2-up on a 50, many families of four on one bike, and a lot of near misses. Most scooters have mirror damage of one kind or another. The preferred footwear is bare feet, or flip flops. There are no helmets on the island. Enjoy....
