How come i can't find a Workshop Manual for my LX 50 2 stroke?

There's only a 4 stroke Workshop manual.

Unless Hendrikius is in Belgium, Wisconsin, he's in Europe. Are the LX 50s in Europe 2-strokes?

I was mistaken! I have a Haynes manual which covers the LX2 50.

I ordered mine from:
http://www.repairmanual.com/catalog/H3492

but I have seen it available from european sellers as well.

Be warned the manual covers a TON of models, so all the pictures won't be specific to your machine, but overall I feel they did a very good job making every process understandable for every model!

Hope that helps

Well,
It's only a temporary fix, I realize, but I could try to scan a couple pages for you if there is a particular job you want to work on at the moment?

depends on the country and Piaggio's behaviour on this (where can i buy which version) is completely intransparent.
In some countries both versions are officially sold. In a few like germany sell only the 2stroke LX (but they sell the ZIP 4stroke here), in others they sell only 4stroke LX.
As all new vespas have to pass EU-wide certification of conformity and the document is equal and accepted EU-wide, you have no problem importing the version you want, if your domestic distrubutor does not sell it.

bye

Most things will be the same as the ET2. So if you can find a manual for one of those, you should be set. Just imagine an 11" front wheel and a few more angles in the bodywork.
