I wanted to name my scooter after a favorite movie dog "Frank" from "Men in Black" but I have a coworker named that so I went with my second choice "Mr. Beefy" from "Little Nicky". Plus compared to my ET2 the GTS300 has a "beefy" sound coming from the muffler.

I often wonder just how many "name" threads are on here. His name is Leonardo Da Vespa. My cousin died the week i got my LX and his formal name was Leonard after our grandfather but everyone called him Buthchie. Thank God my parents used my middle name to pay homage to the grandma. Were not Italian and the Vespa needed a Italian sound so i added an O onto it. He's probably pissed that i named a scooter after him but he'll get over it.

I have tried to come up with a name for years now. Nothing seems to fit? So instead I just ride as often as possible and hope one comes to mind someday.

I'm a huge TinTin fan, so I named my S-125 after this thing:
It's called XFLR-6. I plan to put the rocket on the cowls soon. |

Her name is...
One morning prior to a ride, this old retired priest came up to me and inquired about my Vespa. He said that many years ago he had one in Spain. And he named her "Camila" (which was an old town prostitute in those days while he was growing up) because everybody rode her. He spoke so openly about her and since I am very respectful of priests I was quite surprised that a priest would use such language. So, in honor of this crazy old priest, I named my Vespa "Camila"

Below is "Jala" short for Jalapeño. I know, I know Jalapeños are green -- too late to change the name at this point. Oh, and my mini's name is Dijon as per color.

Dijon hoping to be an SUV one day. :)

It's in the avatar, Lucrezia Borgia, LB for short. Fascinating personage from Italian Renaissance. She is the manifestation of my midlife crisis.

As per the last time someone asked but don;t mind again......
Mine has the name Dexter although I cannot find anything to resemble "male" on the bike. If it happens that I find out in time that it is indeed female. Issues will be addressed and she will be called "Dolly" Looking back at what I have just wrote...I cant find anything to resemble the bike being female either. Any clues where I can find this. Do I have to lift something up to have a peek...lol |

Picked this scooter up in New Orleans on June 30th, 2010. Tropical Depression Alex was in the Gulf deciding if it would become a hurricane.
My first day riding was the 30th in the rain squalls, very heavy at times. Decided the proper name was to be "Sunshine". That day, and the rest of my ride home can be read here Jack's New Orleans to Palm Beach Adventure Jack |

Blue Vespa is Sophie and she has been temperamental lately. Breakdowns back to back over the past two weeks.
Just got my 300 Super Thursday and need a name for her. She has the new black matte finish with metallic flecks in the paint. Sophie on the last breakdown.
My 2012 Vespa 300 Super! Nameless so far.
