Just to let you all know that running an extra 20w or 1.5a is enough to stop your LX charging the battery.

I had put an upgraded bulb into mine, 55w instead of 35w and within 200 miles the battery was dead.

Normal battery voltage is 12.5 before starting, and 13.5v running. With the higher wattage bulb the battery was only reading 11.9v. Result dead scooter as the newer LXs have an electric fuel pump, at least they do in europe anyway.
