I don't know what software is controlling this message board but I'm curious if anyone else would utilize a MV.com mobile version? Some of the other message boards I read utilize a PC version and a mobile (or even lo-fi) version and was wondering if that was even possible with MV.

I do most of my reading from my celly and it's not the reading/images that are a problem, it's the posting. For some reason when I hit 'submit' it takes me straight back to the 'message body' section.

Here I was hyphenating "Modern Vespa" and "Mobile" in my head and getting all excited about the new creation we were destined to all be riding soon...

Seriously though, I use my Pocket PC to MV it up all the time

iPhone be damned! Perhaps I'll have to download a version of Opera or some other mobile browser to see if it works. I have a Moto q9c and it uses IE (natch) for the browser which surprisingly has been fantastic so far.

What browser do you use, xantufrog?

I use IE as well, but I'm running an "old" Windows Mobile 2003 Pro device (iPAQ hx2415) so I am surely not using the same version of IE as you at this point..

Works great on my Treo 700p on Verizon. Pretty light weight pages, they render better than many in my mobile browser.

Cheers, and Rubber Side Down,

Thanks. I've put a lot of effort into simplifying the HTML for the forum, and that one little sentence made my day.

To amply that then, of all the forums that I participate in MV usually loads the fastest, and the UI is the simplest and easiest to read.

Your efforts are appreciated, Jess.

True dat! I've tried reading some of my other mesage boards with no luck - I can only read them if they have a mobile version. MV is a breeze to read on the phone. Thanks, Jess 8)

I also use Mobile IE on WM6 (Samsung Blackjack) and can't post. A low-fi version would be ace, but it's not available for the forum software.

If your phone is having problems rendering a web page you can always try google's mobile page optimizer at

http://www.google.com/gwt/n

It will resize the images and make the pages load faster. Give it a try. It helps on my Treo.
