New to the forum, got my Mp3 250 last week. As the MP3 has a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is it correct there is no concept of # of gears? if not have many gears does it have? Also at around 50-60 miles what's the normal RPM range for this scooter, any one notice? To me it looks like the RPM stay high for as low as 30-40 miles. Thx

You need to do a Google search for "How Does CVT Work"

There are 2 pulleys and one separates or comes closer together to change the ratio by how much force it put on them.

Do a Google search and I am sure you'll find pictures
