Modern Vespa

If one were going to AmeriVespa:

Other than the Modern Vespa you'll be riding (unless you're Rover Eric) how can one tell that you're a MV member or poster/poseur? I am not suggesting a concurrent rally for a particular group (other than for maybe really shitty riders.)

Is there a 'buy your own,' event or other get together where they could meet other MV'ers? Does anyone know Chattanooga well enough to know a good place? Is there a place with a good buffet before 6pm with a senior discount?

Just wondering, and maybe this is a good idea?

Or is it 'Wear your MV t-shirt,' Saturday for the few people that may have received theirs (very cool BTW) Tiny buttons and classic MV patches, for those that have them may not be enough.

Just thinking ahead so in 10 days there aren't 300 'Dude, I didn't know you were there - we should have hooked up,' posts. Last year I was surprised how many people from here, were there - that I didn't meet.

Too funny. Any time I see teenagers with hankies in thier pockets I always ask them What they're flaggin'. I always get the blank stare.

I propose every MV'er going post a picuture of themselves on the thread and we all do a "Wheres Waldo" kinda thing.

Dudes, if you show up at AmeriVespa and you are not on vintage they KNOW you are MV.

If your purse matches your seat cover, they KNOW you are MV.

If your seat cover has animal stripes, they KNOW you are MV.

No handshake needed.

I can't wait to see the howling on the BBS over this one.
