Every weekend I jog by there and the place is LOADED with hipsters and scooters. I'll put that on my list. My gym is right across the street and on Saturday mornings, when we're meeting for Boot Camp, I secretly hate all the folks sitting outside Lucilles. The nerve of some folks! Hahaha. |

OK, Saw a vintage Vespa w/ a sidecar at Cornell turning South onto Colorado Blvd. about 6:20PM tonight.
Both the scoot and sidecar were red with chrome fenders. Oh yea the side car had two kids in it. Very cool. |

I was out there, mesh jacket. Got soaked but it's not the first time and won't be the last. Other than the occasional fish tailing I kind of like riding in the rain.
Extra special thanks to the older lady on the buddy at 19th and Logan who handed me a kleenex to wipe my visor..... |

I was upset this morning when I needed to drive my car today. I hadn't driven it since I bought my S150 in June.

I left work a bit early because I knew it was gonna pour. Made it just in time though. The day before I did get wet though.

Saw a plum Aprilia 500 - client at my office who got clocked pretty good. It's sad that scooters are so expensive to fix. One little crack and the whole things got to be replaced. |

There is a Black LX parked at Art Hardware on Costilla nearly every morning. I followed a new MP3 the other day on Union until it turned off on Austin Bluffs. I see the guys from Sportique riding mainly vintage stuff frequently as my commute takes me by the store daily. |

Black Modern Vespa - bigger than an LX - sorry, don't know the model.
Indendence road near the Boulder airport in Boulder at 1:35 today. I was on my black S150. He/She gave me the Vespa wave and I sort of messed up giving it back. |

Lots today around Cherry Creek - A brand new Red LX150 outside of Nordstrom - still had temporary tags. About 4 other scoots parked there.
A black LX150 and a light blue LX150 outside of Whole Foods, with about 10 other scooters and mine. A completely obnoxious bright / sky blue ET around the corner from there. And an orange something vintage parked on Detroit just south of 13th or 14th. |

nigelthefish wrote: So Colorado peeps, anyone interested in turning this into a scooter tag thread? There is a pretty good game going on here. I'd definitely be intersted in getting something going here on MV. As far as I can tell, orangelightning's tag is still waiting to be gotten: ![]() One more edit - I didn't see any Vespas on my commute today, but I got my first huge, animated "geek wave" from someone on a Met on 92nd right around Lowell. |
