1 = will a little flyscreen (like on a lxv) help for taking the wind of your body ?
I have recently installed a little windscreen on my motorcycle and that helps for me , but that's totally different from a vespa
2 = I'm not that tall , i'm only 5.2 and i went for a longer ride
The things i noticed where my legs weren't comfortable on my lx , i had to cross them on the middle otherwise i just got a paincramp at my hips (higher part of your leg , don't really know how it's called exactly in English) and the other thing was a pain in the lower neck - shoulders (don't know if it was from the wind or not)

I must say , i had a Sym Mio100 before the vespa and i didn't had those things at all

Are there other members who had these 'problems' also ?

My BV came with a little flyscreen, maybe a couple inches at best. It did nothing. My issue was wind noise. I put Piaggio's aftermarket screen on which is 11" above the headlight and 14" wide. It works pretty well. A couple inches higher would be nice but I'm happy with it.

I'd imagine the windscreen on a lxv is merely for looks. The flyscreen on my lx helped big time. Hold your head up proud when you ride or buy a lighter helmet. From what I am told, Nolan makes some of the nicest "light" helmets.

I have the LX50 and have the windshield (they were temp out of the small fly screen, and he sold it to me same price as fly screen) and I like it now. At first I wasn't too sure, mainly the height of it, leary about how well it would do in rainstorm. However it has stopped quite a few pebbles (more like small rocks) and other road debris thrown up from hitting me. Those who ride in/around Boston can attest to the very poor roads. Also one time when caught in unexpected shower, it did a good job reflecting a lot of the rain off me and I was still able to see fine through the windshield.
