I was just wondering what the average life span would be for a 150cc vespa? I know it depends on how you drive and all that... but generally speaking, about how many? The main reason for asking is I can get a 150cc with 2000 miles for $3200. I think it's a good deal but I want to make sure. Thanks! Oh and the new ones are $4800 to give you an idea on the prices.

I know there are people on this board with 50k plus on one bike. These Vespas seem to go forever so long as you keep the maintainece up on them. Dont slack on the services and you'll be ok. Though I think oppsclunkthud has seen an engine die...

Hello! There are numerous threads on this topic you can look through using our search feature, but the short answer is no, that isn't a lot of miles for a Vespa

2000 miles is nothing my GTS has got 1500 on the clock and thats in 6 months so don't be put off at all.

I've got 1500 miles on my 6 month old LX and it still runs like it was brand new. Just make sure the scoot's been serviced properly (once at 625 and again at 2000).
