Modern Vespa

Last night some one got into my garage and stole my 2007 Silver GTS 250. Ithas Vespa screen, Headlight modulator, SX Black bag on rear rack. it has the italian flag painted on leg sheild behind the front tire. als italian flag painted left leg sheild vent. because it was locked in my garage I left the keys in her. I live in beaumont Ca. If you see her please call the cops.

How terrible. Do you have current pics. that you can post everywhere? It should be pretty easy to spot if the try to take it out for a joy ride. Jackasses.

what's sweet about this is, if they catch them, it's not only vehicle theft, it's breaking and entering. bad for them.

So paranoid about this exact thing that I don't leave my keys anywhere in the garage even when it's locked.

Hang in there. Post fliers at your local bike shops/gas stations and the like.

With a little time and luck...someone will see your bike and get it back to you.

High gas prices, more scooters around that get better gas mileage, I see a trend here folks.

Man, bad luck! How could they know enough to hit your garage to grab a scooter with keys in the ignition? I suppose they could have just been looking for whatever was not tied down and got, grrr, lucky.

This is the worst.... I love that scooter - I was really eyeing it when it was Petrol's, but I didn't *need* a new scooter at the time. I just really, really liked the looks of this one.

AWFUL. Yes look in yhe area and on craigslist etc. There is a stolen scooter site also i can't remember the name. We have a member gary who had his scooter and trailer stolen and it was found so don't give up hope. Will your insurance cover it? Good luck. Firm believer in karma. I hate people who steal

Crap Tiny! That totally stinks! The only good thing is that it seems like most of the scooters stolen recently were found very soon and very nearby. Let us hope for that in this case.

holy cow! I live in beaumont for a few more weeks, then back to riverside. I actually saw your scooter on the 10 West Bound, between beaumont and redlands, a couple of days ago - exact description. It was around 8 AM ish while I was driving (in the corolla) to work. I admired the scooter for a minute or two, then passed.

It must have been you riding since it was stolen last night. Bigger guy, big black jacket??? I will for sure keep my eyes peeled since I'm in Beaumont right now. PM me and I'll even give you my number - I want to help if I can.

Sorry about your loss. Now you got me paranoid. I haven't installed my alarm on my bike yetr and I had left it exposed in a parking lot when I had gone off to a meeting. Too bad the Lo-Jack is so expensive. I hope we all can protect our scooter babies!

Ok here is an update did the 2 block spin and found some of my stuff from the pet carrier on a dirt road 2 blocks from my house hoped they would dump it in the wash but they fliped a bitch and headed back out onto the paved road. I have looked all day and no scoot.

Lic plate for California "MAG N ME"
The rims are painted Flat Black as Manny stated
There are New michelin tires on her. The front tire is a 130 not the 120.
Vespa floor mat black
Power outlet on the left knee pad
Garage door opener button on the Left knee pad
(it does not work my door so don't worry)
Head light modulator sensor on right knee pad.
Blue key in ignition with "quicksliver" white key fob
Crome rear crash bars
Crome Jettin oil and trans dip sticks
Italian flag painted on left Rad vent on leg sheild(green-white-Red)
Italian flag painted behind front tire on leg sheild.
Crome rear folding rack(held open my a hose clamp)
Black "SX" rear bag strapped and zip tied to rack
RBSC leg sheild in pet carrier(that sucks the most)

Stolen police report taken and The law is looking I hope. Called all my cop friends to help look also. I said look for the Fucktard riding a silver vespa with no helmet because they did not get any of mine.

Yeah, just the fact that they took the time to dump the pet carrier tells me they are headed out of your area though .......imop.....the unfortunate thing is soooooon when everyone has seen the light....it won't be the Scoots that we find on Ebay/Craigslist/etc.......it will be the parts
