Good on ya! Very cool indeed.

Can I ask ya a couple questions?

How'd it ride?
Was the trailer too bouncy at speed ?
Can you post a pic of your hitch?

TIA, and thanks for posting that.

I would like to see the hitch detail too. My wife wants me to build a trailer for a short run to the beach with her Hobie Adventure Island trimaran sail kayak (about 16 feet, 100 lbs).

The boat's bow tow ring is hitched to the rear crash bar
with two 1/2 inch wide , re-useable zip ties pulled snuggly.

Remember, the boat is flexible and there is no slop between the boat and scoot.

It pulls effortlessly. However, wide turns around curbs is a must. Driving a scooter is normally an nimble thing to do but you sort of have to drive like you are driving an 18 wheeler. Tracking, braking and backing up is very good.

The boat and motor and gear weight in at around 100 lbs.
The bike tires and frame were fashioned out of a discarded InStep Turbo Trailer I found at a dumpster.

http://www.amazon.com/Turbo-Trailer-Steel-Wheels-conv/dp/B0000BZEVE/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1216391995&sr=8-1

The Boat trailer Rig was never intended for a high speed highway. In no way am I promoting this rig as an solution for a general purpose trailer for a scooter on a public highway.

I live very close to a marina and needed a way to get my inflatable to the boat ramp for launching. The distance is little more than a mile on non public service roads.

The 2002 ET4-150 is a stock color. I think they call it Dargon Red.

Maybe we should call Billy Mays (TV Pitch Man) and see if He is interested.

I am thinking we could package the two items and call it strap-1-on.

Can't wait to see the TV commercial !!!!!!!!!
