Hello,
Can anyone with a Roncato briefcase / top box tell me how the frame / rack is suppose to be secured to the Vespa rear rack? I think I might be missing some parts for the Roncato rack since I seem to have a extra short screw, long bolt and extra 1 inch spacer

I'm going to do this from memory...I thought I had my original instructions, but I can't find them.

1) Remove the factory bolt that goes through the rear rack...right at the end of the black plastic piece.

2) Center the chrome rack thing that looks like a big cheese grater on top of the original rack and use one of the bolts to screw it right down through that same bolt hole.

If the bolts you have aren't long enough, just take them to a hardware store and get a longer one...I think I may have had to do that myself.

I also used a large washer, too. See the pic below.

BTW, I almost never remove the topcase so it got a bit grungy there...can't see it with the case on though. Four years now. Those ugly little red rubber washers help keep the rattle down. Yours may not rattle...like I said, my case has been riding there for quite a while.

Hope this helps.

Found it....

Although it is sold as an ET2/4 topcase, I think the mounting is actually generic, as are the instructions.

The only thing that fit my ET4 was B1, and I had to purchase a longer one than the one supplied. I never received the bushing B2, but I'm guessing it keeps the plate from bending in as you tighten good ol' B1.

Neither A1 or A2 were included when I received my case either...? Razz emoticon ?
Either that, or I found they didn't fit my scooter.
