Modern Vespa

I have only just brought this scooter and now find that the previous owner had a new rear tyre fitted and it looks like the fitters have broken the exhaust stud in the head, and then bodged it in it as broken about 3mm in the head so will require drilling out and may be tappingbut looks like the engine out to me i would pay anyone who could do the job there price in cash and take the scooter to them, if i cant get this done then i have just blown £2000

Is it still under warranty, and any idea who fitted the tyre?

thanks for the quick reply no its got no warrenty its a 2004 brought it from a women in leeds, she had the tyre fitted about a year ago when it was last M.O.T and had only done 75 miles in the last year and had not noticed it

It's a Yahoo group. They suck, big time. Worst user experience of any discussion medium on the 'net. The problem is they don't have *anyone* in their employ who understands communication.

They don't allow or understand plain-text, even with the email option.
They don't provide any mechanism for threading, even with the email option.
The email option breaks so many RFCs that it should be arrested as a war criminal, and yes, I know the apparent disparity in description. There is no disparity.
