i'm about to check and top up my oil 4 the 1st time.

for the motor oil do i top up the oil in the same hole as i remove the cap/dipstick?

is it the same for the gear oil?

i bought motul scooter power 4t 5w40 for the motor oil and belray gear saver 80w90 for the gear oil. are they ok?

Yes, but make sure you use a funnel or a tube of some sort - the transmission case isn't a snug fit around the oil filler tube inside and you could get oil in the transmission case otherwise.

gear oil- in my piaggio booklet it has max level marked but doesn't show the min level. do you know what the min is? is it the end (tip) of the dipstick?

I just used the relevant bit from the MP3 250 manual - same engine and transmission. And the hub-oil dipsticks are the same across the range, imprinted on all of them is "500 4T". Go figure. Perhaps the different transmissions use different 'Max' level marks - whatever, that diagram is for the Piaggio 250 engine in whatever guise.
