Modern Vespa

About 10-15 minutes in good traffic, 20-30 during construction season. That compares with 40-60 minutes in the winter when I take the streetcar/subway.

45 to an hour depending on traffic. Same as in the truck.

it takes me all of 10 minutes. I'm lucky to have parking at home and work. I used to ride my beach cruiser which took 25 minutes.

I will be taking a minor detour via the DMV lolliop a few days this week to prepare for my upcoming test.

On a regular day I'm in for 35-45 minutes each day.

On an exceptional day it takes me about an hour and a half

Used to drive 24 miles each way. Now down to 7.5 miles one way. Takes about 15 minutes.

LOL that describes me to a T, beach cruiser and all. I'd like to say I will still ride the cruiser to work, but who am I kidding?

an hour (only have done it on the weekends so far), but I think it will be longer during a weekday - more traffic.

It takes me about the smae time in my car - I don't go much above 60 in the car and about 55 on the scoot. LOTS of hills to climb and curves...

About 40 minutes each way. !/2 on city streets and 1/2 on the freeway. It is the best part of my day. Up here I only get to do it about 6 months out of the year.

bout 15 min to and from the Hosp where I work, luckily I have my own special place to park in the ramp close to the front. I look forward to the ride home every day

10 - 60 minutes....depends entirely on coffee shop chat/loitering/finding a comrade to spring for an extra il dopio!

15 to 20 minutes is all it takes me to get to and from work on my scooter. In the car it is more like 20 to 25 minutes.

about 20 minutes to do 14 miles -- all residential/back roads. Takes about the same amount of time in the car using the highway.

Only 10 minutes or so I need a new job. Or to move.

3 minutes, 45 seconds. Same in the cage. Less if I catch the green light.

2 min and 43 sec to my funcoffee job and 1 hour to my dental slave second side job. i love passing traffic on the 710 getting 70 mpg.

15-20 chilly minutes in the morning, depends if school traffic is on the road. The ride home should be the same but it is much warmer. It was 101 degrees on today's ride home and for some reason that scooter kept turning away from home and hitting other streets. Took over an hour to get home. Bad Scooter! We have to go home and make dinner.

It takes an hour but with a stop for coffee and a muffin more like 1 1/2 hours.

9 minutes, unless the traffic is super-heavy. Then it takes 10. Sometimes there can be up to 4 cars at the light.

but luckily I take my girl to work everyday so that's a good 15 minutes each way... twice!

4? It's a busy morning (5:30am) if I even see 2 cars my whole ride.

Commute is 11 miles each way. It used to be 15 minutes door to door in the cage via the freeway. I thought it would only be 20 minutes on the scooter, but it's about 30 minutes with warming up the engine, etc. Today was my second day using the scoot to commute and I walked in late for the office meeting. One of the guys was calling my husband to make sure I was okay, because I'm always so prompt. I'll just have to spend less time on MV in the early morning to give myself more time on the Vespa.

15 minutes one way when traffic is low (like now, during the summer). Up to 30 min during rush hour other times of the year. But then it would have been at least an hour in car.

Not nearly long enough . It's only about 3/4 of a mile to the office. I think I may have a problem though, I some times find myself driving past my building and having to double back or going out for a doughnut before heading into work.

Well my job is about 12mn away but I take about an HOUR to get there BECAUSE IT'S FUN!!!!

it takes me like 15-20 to school but at night i go a different route not though a dodgy area so that's like 25min maybe. work is about 30 min and I get to go over the charles river... so pretty! fav part of some days.

6+ miles takes me about 20 minutes, a few minutes longer during school season sharing the road with busses and soccer moms. I park at the bike rack (somewhat) hidden from from foot traffic behind a barricade for the buildings emergency generator. A gallon a week and free parking in downtown

Takes me about 35 mins on Highway 101 in LA during traffic. It's 20 miles. Takes about 20 mins no traffic. Here is parking situation. I'm the mp3 in the middle.

72 miles one way about 1.5 hrs depending on traffic. Farm to market road about 35 miles to I hit state hwy into Austin. Then Austin sucking traffic but only rode the Vespa one Sunday(rotating shift work weekends) still breaking it in. Usually ride the Harley on weekends but now I will switch between the two. Probably ride it Sunday gets a little better gas mileage than the Harley.

6.5 miles each way to work takes me anywhere from 15-25 minutes depending on traffic and how many stop lights I hit. When I had a car, it took me about 10 minutes longer. My firm also gives me an extra stipend every month for not using a parking space under my building, so I actually get paid to commute!

my favourite topic...
used to take me up to 50 MINUTES on the bus, and the bus stop is literally next door to my house and there were 3 bus routes that went to where I work, so the frequency was good.

takes me 12 minutes in average now...

15 when all the stupid cars are out and school is on as well

Stay at home dad. I used to take the kids around in one of those bike trailer things.

Last job was about twenty minutes. Didn't have a running scooter back then.
