Got the new SX saddlebags and drink holder today. Good stuff for an extended trip.

Just kidding! How much do they hold? I've been thinking about getting something like that for road-trips (if I ever get to take any, that is!).

The bags look great, looks like they hold a lot.

I've been curious about the saddlebags ... what keeps them from scratching or wearing away at the paint?

The back is a softer material, and there are a couple of good sized round magnets sewn in. The only Neg for scooters is a bottom strap that has to be cut off. Each bag is about the size of a briefcase, or big laptop case. GIVI makes a bigger one, but the smaller ones look better (to me)

I like the drink holder, because the black "ring" is actually a stiff bungee, and won't scratch the scoot, or me when I inevitably hit it getting on.

now I wish I'd bought the black Prima bag....

But I emailed the seller to see if they would work on a Vespa GTS he said he wasn't sure, anyone else ever give them a try?

that prima bag looks a lot better than the SX bag i just got for my back rack. i might have to do a return and exchange!

Yeah.... its not a harley davidson and youre not the marlboro man (the the best of my knowledge). I'm just not feeling 'em.
