Not that I mind another post on the topic, but some might be interested in this thread from last month:

I don't keep any emergency or safety supplies under there, as of yet anyways. When I do breakdown, I'll just call my wife to bail me out. lol
I have my foam cupholder, a few bungee cords, the owners manual folder with all my insurance stuff, etc, and then I often shove the rain shell from my 3 piece jacket on top of all that. The funniest thing I've ever carried under there was a whole mega-meal from KFC. I couldn't believe that it could fit in there with room to spare. It was the 3rd day I owned it, and I knew I was in love. All I could smell at stoplights was KFC. lol |

I keep lots of junk there (& in my topcase), but for me the only really key items are:
* 2 bungee nets (in different sizes) * A bungee cord * An extra pair of gloves (for when the first pair gets wet) * A clear visor (in case I'm unexpectedly caught out after dark) * The cell phone & wallet in my purse * A small towel And I almost always have a bag hanging from my grocery hook with a container of ice water inside (which is key for me, anyway ) |

I always keep a tire pressure gauge and mini bicycle pump. That way I'm tempted more often to tire check... plus you can pump the rear up if you're taking on a passenger. I'm sure those CO2 inflators are handy if you get a flat though...

I keep it empty because I need that space for my gym bag when commuting and groceries when I'm doing errands. The only thing that is always in there is a bungee net.
In my glove box I have gloves, clear goggles and a copy of my registration. I keep a heavy cable lock attached to my milk crate. |

Manny Id suggest to everyone, buy a motorcycle set of Jumper cables, unless you can kick start your scoot. |

Kingnor, that looks exactly like what I have in mine. Compact tool kit is all I really need. |

I carry a whole crap load of tools, must be from my days of riding 2 stroke vespas, even though I dont need them for the 4 stroke motor. But its nice to have them incase someone breaks down or a fellow GTS rider goes down and someone has to reset the handle bars straight.
My motto: Its always better to be prepared than to be left thinks"funk I should have brought that tool" Kingnor, wheres your 10 mm thru 13mm wrenches or sockets? Manny |

tire gauge, extra do-rags, roll of tools, bungees, towel, rags, reflective visibility vest for dark rainy nights, save-da-earth bag, sometimes visor or faceshield if i'm not using it.

I keep my messenger bag in it. In the glove box I keep my wallet, my phone, the opener for the gate, my car keys and a bandanna for wiping whatever needs wiped.
In the "trunk" I keep bottles of water, a towel, sunblock and some baby wipes for the unfortunate grease that happens to me when I bolt or unbolt the thing to my car. I still have lots of room for groceries or stuff from target, whatever I decide to do. |
