There has been a lot of discussion about the inaccuracies of the speedometer. Has anyone "calibrated" their odometer? Does it suffer the same problem? If so, a used bike has a lot less miles than it says.

LX-150 speedo
If your speedo is reading +5%, so will your odo.

Not necessarily or even usually, even with mechanical ones! The odometers tend to be fairly accurate, the speedos will always be optimistic. Those with digital readouts for both (Burgman 650 say) who install a 'speed healer' to get the speedo right find their odometers are reading low. They don't mind of course.

Not true. The speedo is deliberately off. The odo is pretty close to correct.
