Hey everyone,

What's the longest amount of time your scoots been at the dealer/shop for repairs? I'm not talking body work, I'm talking about like oil change, etc.

One week...and I was kinda annoyed it took that long. They changed a rear tire, did an oil change.

Shortest time, 2hrs, and that was two mechanics working non-stop apart from sipping the tea I made for them. there's a lot more to it than just an oil change if done properly, there's lots of preventative maintenance done too. It takes at least 10 mins just to do the full CO check for instance.

Longest for a 'full standard service' with one mechanic about 4 hours, but I'd just ridden a long hot ride and it took ages for the exhaust to cool down...

Excellent point, Jim. Nobody wants to work on a hot engine.
