I've been thinking of powder coating the wheels on my 250. I have a little Eastwood powder coating system, blast cabinet, oven, etc., and have been doing small jobs in my garage for 10 years or so with a lot of success.

I like the GTS300 rims with the silver edges. Can anyone (GTS300 owners) tell me if the silver rim is bare aluminum, and if so is it clear coated? Or could it be painted silver? I think it would be cool to do mine red to match with silver edges, but I like the black too.
