Looking through Mala Mujer's new Sundance Catalog I spy item No 46268 on page 4: A 1967 Bultaco Metralla "completely restored to 100% factory-correct condition by noted Bultaco expert Cody Tellis." Its a 250 cc, 4 speed that looks a lot like this:

Being the Sundance catalog its a little pricey at $16,995 but I'm totally smitten. I keep meanin' to start playin' the lottery...

This is my all time favorite bike. There is a guy here in Murrieta that is selling a nice one for the low price of $8500.

It's the red one...and it is absolutely beautiful.

Totally beautiful. My dad had a bultaco enduro bike ( along with a bunch of other cool bikes I wish I had today)... I have always loved all things bultaco, even the name is cool...

Yes, it's always been in my top 5 since I first laid eyes on a picture of one. As sweet as almost any old Ducati, Guzzi or Laverda (a few exceptions).

Never heard of it until I happened to leaf through that Sundance Catalog. It looks like they are actually five-speed two-stroke machines.

Definitely two-stroke!
