Let me say it again, my LX 150 rocks the kasbah for many, many reasons. However, the one thing--albeit minute and not a performance matter--that constantly bothers me is the lame glovebox design. I carry my gloves, glasses, earplugs and a small notebook in there and every time I open it up they all fall forward in Gilligan-like fashion. I know, there are glovebox organizers already available specifically for the ET, but I'm tired of waiting for one for the LX.

Please, someone, anyone, prove me wrong on the availability of an LX-specific glovebox organizer.

That said, this design by Honda that seems to get it right--at least in photos:

I feel you, man. I hear that other models fit Big Gulps and crap like that.
This one sure doesn't. My garage door opener is the only thing in there now because of the skinny, funny shape of the glove box. Gloves fall out, shades, whatever. I'm right in line w/you at the glove box organizer store.

LX150 Glovebox
>It rocks the kasbah< so right dude!

Though the glovebox is a bit too shallow, it's certainly better than the Honda design you posted. I would hate to put stuff in what looks like cigarette cases.

I plan to put speakers in the wells of the glove box, battery-powered, and run the iPod off them. I'm looking for speaker designs now.

Now THAT is something this glovebox design might actually be good for.

I'm afraid of forcing my glove box open on my LX or slamming it closed too hard thinking the plastic hinges would break off. The whole thing seems kind of flimsy if you ask me. But I guess that's what the under the seat compartment is good for if you don't mind things getting warmed up.

GENIUS! I would love to see pics of that when you get it going.
I love listening to music while riding, but earbuds can be kind of a pain.
I love your plan.
