Hello there...!!!!

....crashed it in the spring ...not badly, while on a ride w my wife, muddy asphalt ,a jackass parked on the right lane, waiting - not supposed 2, big bus on the left one, coming strongly, inexperience ( mine), and a missing bushing, there where the engine meets the "swinging arm"... pressed the brakes both the same time ...felt the back of the scooter goin' right ...hit the asphalt - pretty sureal everything - ...holding the handel bars still and laying on asphalt, I find my wife pulling me from the back, up ...I was happy to see her oke ...she was my only concern ...not a single bruise on her ...but traumatised......never again I said 2 my self ....

...got over my bruised body and mostly my bruised EGO ,and decided to have it my way, again!!!!...this time I decided 2 be radical in changes ...still a "rough sketch " of what I've wanted ,......but i like it this way, ...here it is....

- rebuild front shock
- new rear shock
- fixed the scratches and "pushed in" body tin
- did not fixed the lateral rear side of the body- that got hit - decided to bring an "old timer" look on it ... so put a hole in it - with a purpose -the air sport filter - not only for the estethics or convinience - less labor -

- the muffler ornament, trimmed and cut - still to work on it - to fit the hole and the body look as a whole ....replaced wit an hand made ornament made from wire mesh .
-air filter box ,OUT , put a RMS performance air filter ...also a wire mesh complets where the old filter box left missing ...
- slit the muffler - with a grinder - about 3 inches..
NICE SOUND !!!!...head turner .....

- the wind screen got hit , so i'd lost a part of it ....decided to salvage as much as I could ...it looks as it is ...still work to be done on it ...

- slimed the plastic rear ornaments ... I like de "old timer" look of the straight cut of the rear body part - cowls - ....

- cut the cover ,there where the clutch bell is ...like to see some moving parts ...2 wheels and an accent ...

- cut the front cover ...there is a car projecter fit behind...not finished ...NEED SOME ADVICE ON HOOKING UP TO THE MAIN ELECTICAL HARNES TO GET ENOUGH JUICE TO LIT UP A HALOGEN 35W ...got light in it but is just a 5W light bulb power ....

...adjusted carb : mixture and the idle, not jeted yet - GOT THE MAIN 82 in size - but I LOVE THE GAS CONSUPTION : 3.3 Liters per 100[/b] Km [/size]

..that's about it for now ..be back with more of everything shortly...

....cheers and thank U, Luca

This looks like a great project.

Can be a little more clear on slitting the exhaust 3 inches?

Where did you make the cut, etc...

thanks

Hello there ...!!!!

...with red is suggested where the cut i's been made ....start cutting from - about - the center / lower part of the hole....and angle it a bit so the exhaust fumes wont spit directly in the tire ....

cheers, Luca
