fist post on site but a fan and have read for a while....

but as stated above i have a 2003 vespa et4...i would like to remove my evap system...i have looked through the site all over and could only find this help

ET/GT/LX: Hard Starting, Rough Idle, or Stalling

my carb does not look like this (mine has gold top not black plastic) i am the first and only owner since new. were any of them built without this evap system and shipped to the usa???

any help would be welcomed. thanks
