Modern Vespa

Anyone in orange county,ca area know where I could get one of these. Preferable from a reputable shop.

i *think* that the scootershop in orange carries tomos.

if you strike out there try Big Ass Motors, i know that they carried tomos in the past and could probably hook you up. Mr. Essen or Mr. Elliot will take care of you.

This guy is supposed to be the creme de la creme of moped knowledge and service. He is in Fullerton and is all abuzz on Moped Army. They do a moped rally every year nothing over 35mph is allowed!

Those Tomos peds are really cool...I was so close to getting either the Sprint or LX right before I heard the Vespa S was coming out.

Do you need a drivers license or MC license for a moped? I'm trying to convince my 20 year old step kid to get some sort of transportation besides the bus.

I had one of those, a 1982 model. Sold it when I left Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island about 5 years ago.

It was a fun bike, tachometer and all. Loved to rev that smoker up to the red line, 12k if I remember correctly.
It was affectionately known as "Big Red" due to its cherry red colour.
