I was searching the web for a new iPod clock radio and came across this. It's a powered speaker where the iPod is hidden inside a cylindrical enclosure with speaker on one end and the controls on the other end. Seems like the iPod is nicely protected from weather and the whole thing is designed to fit in the water bottle cage of a bike.

Wonder how it would work sitting in the aftermarket cup holder????

Looks like it comes with/fits a standard bottle cage for a bicycle. Cool.

That's VERY cool... External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text The "mountable wireless RF remote control" should make it safer/easier to change tracks while at a stoplight.

(but it may be available for less from retailers like amazon.com and buy.com)

Certainly less "cutting" involved than with this option:

MP3 player for Stella & P series: http://www.scooterworks.com/Stereo_Kit_Stella_and_P_Serie_P4462.cfm

And certainly a less cumbersome option to this:

i dont know - this idea is in the same boat as the flagpole. I mean how dorky is it at a stop sign and music is coming from your scooter?? Can't really hear it that well anyway with a helmet on...

Hehe c'mon, nothin would be more intimidating at a light than my ET2 bouncing to DMX. Or I could embrace the situation and blast Pavarotti

Pavarotti = YES, DMX = NO - still it is kind of a "dork factor". Just my HO.
