After a week of real hot weather (tar all over the front fender and legshield) and another week of rain (mud and crap everywhere else), I geve my little bug a nice bath today.
It looked so nice and shiny, I decided I'd slip my camera in my pocket and find some scenic backdrops for some glamour shots to post here.
Every time I saw a likely spot, I was enjoying my ride too much to stop. "There'll be another nice place up the road" I kept saying. After an hour or so, I stopped for gas and decided this was ridiculous--I'll stop by the pond and take some shots.
As I turned onto the road, I was behind a Fire Engine Red WRX. "You know" I thought, "if anything sets off a speed trap, it'll be a bright red pocket rocket." So I gave him about an eighth of a mile, and just kept pace with him. Before I knew it, I was past the lake, past the pond, past the woods and back in town.
In the end, I pulled into my yard, no pics. Just 100 beautiful miles of beautiful riding on a beautiful day.
Anyway, it's just a silver GTS with a Piaggo flyscreen and sidestand. You know what it looks like.
P.
