HOORAY FOR P-TOWN!!!

The Santa Rosa area is beautiful but the majority of the local riders find it too far to attend Northern Bay Area rides so I doubt we will see many in San Jose (Southern Bay Area). I guarentee you we will see more riders from P-Town at Amerivespa 2009 than from the Santa Rosa Area.

I met a guy Sat night at the banquet that RODE to Chattanooga from Winnipeg! Are you guys riding from T town?

I'd need to add some meat to my butt. In my current state there isn't enough padding there to survive such a long ride. It would also be hard to take that much time off from work during the summer. Anyhow, I really really hope to make it, that would be awesome!

Does anyone have the dates for the 2009 Amerivespa? I have to schedule my vacation for next year soon!.

Pffft, Golden Gate bridge. Just wait until you ride under our big, blue arch when Amerivespa comes to Albany, GA in 2010. Now THAT'S an awesome sight to behold. Oh, the beauty and splendor!

we are workin on the dates, and are aware everyone has to book vacation time early.

we have to make sure no other huge conventions or events are happening in San Jose that week/weekend.

I'd love to make it to '09 in San Jose. Time will tell. ( I still owe my wife a few rounds of "outlet shopping" for Chattanooga!)

When we get closer to the date, say in the Spring, some of us right coasters will be looking for any floorspace near the activities. Just trying to keep this in the back of someone's mind.

Yes I can see what you mean, that blue thingy is so much nicer than the Golden Gate Bridge.

Looks like some left over roller coaster railing from Six Flags Georgia. But I am sure when you see it person it is probably breathtaking!

San Jose is normally dry and warm in July!! perfect scooting weather

Can't guarantee to be earthquake free but I would put money down that there will be no rained out rides.

Looking forward to the dates - I have to make this happen as I'm sure it is never coming to Minneapolis. Man, I moved away from Cali too soon damn it!

Hmmm, if breathtaking is synonymous with "retch-inducing" then yes, yes it is. Did I mention that at night it lights up with the beauty of what looks to be three strands of Christmas tree lights? Take THAT, Golden Gate Bridge.

The biggest thing I can imagine would be Moto GP, but that's down in Monterey/Salinas...

Bad b/c other people may WANT to go down there if they're in the area. The other alternative is "Scoot to the Moon" which always ends up same weekend as Moto GP.

Good would be if it were scheduled the same weekend. "While the cats' away, the mice will play!" Means less squids on the roads... Things to consider.

Skyline or 9 or whatever eats scooter squids just as easily as sportbike squids
