Does anybody else have one on their scoots?
Last night my friend and I installed one on my LX150 and on the most part it was easy to install, other than a missing nut that didn't come with the kit which I already found a replacement. So when I started it up my Vespa sounded pretty loud compared to the stock pipe. I mean you can totally tell the difference, like between a dirt bike and a Harley...pretty meaty. So I'm thinking it must be loud because I have an air leak someplace, although it doesn't seem like air is escaping from the flange mount. I've never hear a Vespa with one of these exhausts on it so I don't know what to gage it on. Anyone else out there have one of these Scoprions on their scoots?

The Scorpion made my Mojito a lot louder than stock. I doubt that you have an air leak, but definitely make sure that the exhaust flange is fully seated. Like you say, the sound is pretty meaty. At low revs it definitely sounds like a hog. It's a great pipe and if you ever install a 190 kit, you'll be able to get the most out of it.

questions about the scorpion pipe............
How do you know if you need to re-jet? I've heard that if it's too lean you will get crackling ............if too rich do you get backfires?

Also what are those pipes selling for? I like their cool look but I don't want to compromise my reliability. Comments?
