Do you have Full Covverage? If you do turn it over to your insurance campany. They can get intouch with the other insurance company. They have ways to collect the money.

Since you don't have a phone, have you tried their online claims and concierge service?

Or try this...call their 1.800.776.4737 number then press 0 three times (that is, 000). According to the GetHuman site that should put you through to a live person.

Good luck!

let your insurance co know what rental car co he used, the dates, his name, kind of car, tag # and ect. then let them go after the guy thats what you are paying premiums for and go get your scooter fixed at the dealer and the insurance co. should pay the dealer in full.

and this is where the uninsured motorist insurance comes in handy. Either way it it's all on progressive. don't let them make you wait while they figure out if they have to pay or if they'll get the money from the other guys insurance.

Is the bike at a shop for an estimate yet? If not, get it there. With that done the insurance co should send someone around to look it over and decide on repair or replace and off the shop goes on fixing it.

There are probably three insurers involved: Progressive, the car rental company's insurer, and the driver's insurer. Anything beyond your own insurer should not be your concern nor should it delay getting your scooter fixed since YOU have insurance coverage and it's your insurer's responsibility to deal with collecting whatever from whomever.

So call Progressive and remind them firmly that you were hit by another driver, that the police report shows it was the other driver's fault, and that while you understand they will naturally want to get reimbursed by the other insurance companies involved that's not your concern. You have insurance through them, and you need your vehicle fixed.

Have you seen a claims adjuster yet or did Progressive recommend a shop for your repairs? Some insurers have approved shops which, if you go to them, eliminates the separate need to see an adjuster. This process is independent of anything to do with the other insurance companies.

It sounds like you need to get a live person on the line and get polite yet firm with them. A month is way too long.
