NapaCoach wrote: you two should hand out boondoggles when begging for votes ![]() it works in the movies The best I can do is pics of noncontenders, like the one below This one is described by the eBay seller as a "1986 Honda Helix Scooter CN250 **Chick Magnet!!**" ![]() ![]() The scooter's story is: Quote: Well here it is! A 1986 Honda Scooter purchased brand new from the dealer in 1990. Honda stopped selling them here in the states in 1987 and then started selling them here again around 1994. I think the only thing they changed over that span were the rims. I bought this and used it for school commuting and put over 24K miles on it over 6 years. I changed the oil every 600 miles because it only takes less than a quart! I've painted it, originally red, then yellow, then white, ended with blue. It has a custom stereo system that I installed. A couple of 4X10 Pioneer speakers that I put into wood enclosures, sanded, bond-doed, and painted. There is an equalizer in the dash, a 50 Watt amp in the trunk, and it all is hooked up to the Sony Walkman with digital presets and wait! -------- auto-reverse cassette player! Yea, I know, remember I was fresh out of high school and had alot of time. This system is very loud and very clear, It was no problem hearing my tunes going 65 - 70 MPH on the freeway. |

See the bottom of the post for the results so far
I'm seeing a 3-way tie for 4th place, so if you want Poopy McScoot to make the cut (or you want to discourage it)... You need to go vote at: Scooter Art Contest Voting: Pick the Winners!

Seriously? We're having a vote-off for 4th place? L from Jersey, are we going to have to impose a limitation to the amount of threads / polls you can start?

And, just in case y'all had managed to miss Poopy so far:

I would, but I'm thinking that it would be a misuse of someone's intellectual property But since MV member Scooterdoodler is the intellect in question... maybe you should PM him |

Thanks for reminding people about the art thread, L.
I have decided that picking finalists and then picking a winner takes too long and is generally silly for this contest. So.... vote to pick the winner and the 2nd and 3rd places. We'll then reopen for the August contest. |
