OK so I ordered some parts for my 500.. have them all including a nice shiny top case.. with NO mounting plate. I ordered it on the 28th of May so two full months ago.

So, you wise and learned folks here is my question. Is it going to get easier to get aftermarket parts for the MP3's? I have this feeling that if I break something I will be SOL for two months waiting on parts.

I just posted about an OEM windscreen now available.
This info has only become available by my constant emails to dealers, piaggiousa, and piaggiogroup italy.
Someone is going to listen and somebody's boss is going to probably be surprised.
When my dealer said "No windshield available" he was going by the dealer extranet and today
I learned that the parts and accessories mgr at piaggiousa forgot to enter those numbers into extranet, but they are really trying.
You, and everyone here has to start voicing your concerns to Piaggio, that's how we got the 400 & 500 here.

p.s. I believe it's going to get easier.

What email addresses would be appropriate to use to contact Piaggio USA and PGI?

I obtained the email addresses on the websites, it's public record.
It's not like calling someone at home
I even emailed the Pope!

I own my MP3 500 and plan to use it in a TV Pilot we are shooting. Just to be sure, I called Howard's office and he says since I own it I can use it in video any way I want without Piaggio permission. (Just in case anyone is interested.)
