Has anyone found any hand shields for the 250 (and 400) specifically? It looks as if it would be much easier to mount them on the 500 as the handlebars are accessible.

Just to clarify, I'm not having any problem in finding sources for them, just in trying to find some that can be fitted to the 250 somehow. There's a serious lack of mounting real estate around the grip area on the 250. I'm hoping that someone here may have already figured out how to do so.

I'm guessing that name is specifically English as when I googled it I get pages and pages of UK websites.

And damn useful too. Hands warm and dry in winter, hands cool and dry in summer even with the odd thunderstorm. No more soggy gloves.

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you... I do know what they are, I remember seeing them on Police bikes back in Toronto. I was just curious what they might be called here in North America as "muffs" seemed to bring up only UK sites.

Trevor,
Yes, I know of that thread, but it is for the 500 which has access to the bars, whereas the 250/400 models do not. There is simple nowhere to mount that type of hand guard the the 250/400, hence my post. Simon |
