so, about an hour ago, i was down at the local ace picking up some bug dust for my daughter's tomato garden.

they have been tearing up and redoing the road, it's hard to see because there's big machines parked everywhere, and it's a one lane because of the alternating traffic.

anyway, there's a huge line of cars, and i'm waiting to turn in to a spot. this guy behind me in a smashed up beratta was apparently tired of waiting for me to turn.

he got out of his car, proceeded to walk my way, and yelled:

HEY YOU FUCKING FAGGOT ON THE MOPED GET YOUR PIECE OF SHIT OUT MY WAY BEFORE I KICK YOUR FUCKING FAGGOT MOPED ASS.

then the road workers were like WTF and started coming over, so the dude got back in his car and just started laying on the horn.

i whipped back in the parking lot and did some more shopping before he could run me over 2 miles down the road.

i swear.

What a dirt bag. Lots of dirt bags on the road and I really could give a s***

A.S.S.! I had a similar encounter driving to a liquor store... I think the driver and passengers must have been on a 2nd trip. Got em kicked out of the liquor store though... moped ass cut their road rage asses off

A dozen or so years ago I did that once to a crazy driver who was crowding me on my motorcycle. He chased me for 2 miles trying to hit and bump me off the road or run me over..!
I was able to outrun him weaving thru traffic on my 750, and finally pulled over into a parking lot where I jumped on a pay phone. He pulled into the lot, saw me on the phone (which was actually dead!), and took off like hell back outa the lot, tires screeching!

My moment of satisfaction at giving him the bird was no where near worth it, I realized...
And I've been a different rider on the road ever since. Much more Buddhist-like! 8)
(And I don't have 750ccs of security speed now either, y'know?)

Out here, too often, those crazy aggressive drivers are armed.

About a month ago two cars were at an impasse on a narrow street up in SF. One car had several young men in it, the other a father and his two sons. The father backed up to let the other car pass, but even though he'd given way one of the guys in the passing car opened fire killing the man and both of his sons.

Just get out of the situation as quickly as possible. It's simply not worth trying to make a point.

Im pretty mellow, but i may have handled that differently, the wrong way...

On Monday I went to grab some lunch, I parked my scoot in a spot and proceeded to walk across the lot. Some Jack Monkey in a BMW SUV shot by me and almost hit me. So I yelled Asshole! The SUV stops and this middle aged asian guy gets out of the car and says "What did you fucking call me?",
" You heard me, the pedestrian has the right of way and you almost hit me",
"Say it again fucker", I could see the look in his eyes, it was not that of a rational man, plus this guys thinner and smaller than me, and all I could think of was that Zohan movie, where the guy gets his face kicked over and over, then I thought, shit this guys prob some drug King pin and killing me wont be an issue.
So I reached for my cell and said "well I'll just call the cops and they can explain to you a pedestrain has the right a way"
"YOu fucken pussy call the cops, I dont care, call them" as he got back into his SUV , he then parked and went into some store. I went into Popeyes for some lunch.

I was scared, just by the look in his eyes, my spider sense said walk away and let it go. I normally wont back down from an arguement, especially when I did nothing wrong, but in this case I did.

Nothing like a bit of guerilla theater and helping in creating his own scenarios....I write an accurate description of the vehicle, driver and plates and send a written report to the local small city cop shop. His attitude is indicative a a larger problem, with a little help he''ll be a moped rider himself...gotta love a mongoloid gear-head on a 49cc Chinese knockoff, they're much humbler in traffic....

I have to agree. By law, the act of getting out of your vehicle in the roadway to confront someone is considered an aggressive action and you have every right to hit first as you are the one being approached in an aggressive manner.

Too many people in this world think they can say/do anything and get away with it. I have taken a few of these blowhards up on their aggression and wiped the floor with them. Nothing pisses me off more than some a-hole who has a miserable life projecting his frustrations on an innocent person.
