It's on scooter lane. I call the road that, because it has more scooters on it than any other road in Austin. This is on the side of the building. The place is loco.

OMG That is the place of my dreams I don't know if I will be able to get this tag. My husband dropped my scooter, and it needs some TLC. I will be going to this place no matter what though.

If there's a pay box/meter nearby, then you can park your scooter at it for free. The post office is not far away either. That would probably work during the day. They charge at night, at least on the weekends.

TAG!! Texas State Cemetery; and here's your history lesson for the day:
Albert Sydney Johnston Born in Kentucky in 1807, Johnston moved to Texas in 1836 and joined the Texas Army as a private, eventually earning the title of Secretary of War for the Republic of Texas. During the Civil War, he commanded the Army of Mississippi and was mortally wounded at the Battle of Shiloh on April 6, 1862, and buried in New Orleans. His remains were laid to rest in the Cemetery in 1867. The sculpture and structure were completed by Elisabet Ney in 1904. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New tag location will be coming soon . . . ![]() |

Way to go! I am glad the weather is finally cooperating. Maybe more people can play. I love riding my scooter through the cemetery. It seems illegal or wrong somehow

The scoot looks nice and shiny. Mine is still covered with pollen from being at Vespa Austin and also just from riding around I think I know where this is. Hopefully, I can get it tomorrow.

I thought we might play a game; other than the one we are already playing You probably know what the following is. Once the tag is found, the new tag could also be the same structure, just a different one. We could do a series. We could keep going until we get them all or until we get bored. It's important to leave some of the background in the pic, or you can not tell one tower apart from another. Does anyone want to play? If not, this is still the next tag. Please let me know if you need a hint.

My vote is No on a change to scooter tag. While there's a known number of moonlight towers, who would decide how many of something else exists, and if it was something as generic as "Mexican restaurants", or bridges, there's a zillion Mexican restaurants in Austin, and who knows how many bridges. My feeling is that all interest in continuing scooter tag would go away, even more so than its current interest.

I wasn't referring to a change in general. I was just referring specifically to the moon tower tag. It's purely a suggestion. I thought it might spice things up enough to get others to participate. If you haven't noticed lately, things are dying in Austin scooter tag

soniam wrote: Wow Long time no see in the scooter tag game. December we were gone almost the whole month to visit family in California and go to Disneyland. Jan through March my youngest got really sick and had a fever for almost 3 months straight. Fortunately she is feeling much better now. While she was sick my wife had to go to the ER with her a couple of times and one time they wanted to transfer her to Dell Children's Hosp. and I realized I had no way to get there with my other 6 yo because I didn't have a vehicle so I bought a Tacoma 4x4. Since I lost a lot of weight I decided to start doing a bootcamp and I couldn't carry my dumbbells and mat on the scooter so I didn't ride MWF. That is over now and my wife and I are doing P90X at night so I can ride more regularly. Funny thing is I just got my scooter outfitted for winter with heated grips etc... and now I have a truck so I am too lazy to ride in cold or rain. Oh well enough excuses here is the next tag. Hopefully it isn't too difficult. ![]() |

Sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope she is doing better. I always wondered how you got around with only 1 car. Glad to see you back.
This was an amazingly easy tag. I thought it would be harder. This is right behind your office isn't it ![]() ![]() Copper sculpture at W 2nd & San Antonio
