haha Just a couple days later and I would be having a hot dog for lunch. I am going to try to get down to the DPS office to get my license tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know what is involved if I have my MSF certificate? What do I need to bring? Is the test similar to the MSF written test or is there more that I need to know?

Hey, it's been a while since I took the test, but when I did, it was multiple choice on a computer. It was very similar to the MSF test. I think I missed one question and that was because the computer monitor was hard to read. I'd probably review stuff from class. For sure bring your MSF certificate and your driver's license. Otherwise, I'm not 100% sure. But, it's always safe to bring insurance and registration to those places (probably doesn't matter when getting a license).

Maybe someone else who's gotten it more recently has better info...?

If you've got a Mac you can open the picture up in Preview. Under the Tools menu go to Adjust size. Make sure you have pixels selected and then put in 800 in Width. Height will adjust automatically. Save as a file name and you've got it.

I've been doing it a different way, but thought I'd try this way to see how it was. But, when I go to the tools menu, there is not anything that says Adjust Size. Is it because I'm using the old Mac software and not Leopard (or whatever the newest one is?)??? Hmm...

Thanks,

I was just wondering when I moved to Texas I had to bring all this other stuff like my birth certificate. I guess that was just because I was moving from out of state? I now have a valid class C license.

I'm finding I have a penchant for murals.

Hint: This is located right next to an Amy's Ice Cream which is strangely close to yet another Amy's Ice Cream.

The hot dog was delicious and I ate it so fast there was no time for photos!
The girl working there (in particular) and the owner were kind of excited by us playing scooter tag at their place. It was nice.

It looked a lot like this...

OOOh wow! I might have to go down there on my scoot some day. They probably were excited because it will get them some exposure

The only thing about taking the scooter there is the parking lot is all gravel. I parked there for the photo, but I was too short of cash (which is all they take) to buy a dog ($3.75 for Chicago style). So, I rode to the bank next door, went to the ATM and left Puddin' in their lot. I felt a lot better about it.

Dunno how much exposure we'll give them, but they probably have at least two more customers. Laughing emoticon

haha true true but there are probably more than us reading this forum. Haha I tend to watch other scooter tag posts from places near where I used to live like Sacramento, San Diego, and the Bay Area california. When I go back to visit I might just hit up some of the places in those posts. I keep saying "Wow I didn't know that was there."

I'm watching a lot of the other scooter tags, too. My favorite one is probably this one: https://modernvespa.com/forum/topic31728.1
starting with the first bridge. Then, scroll down and read...keep going to the end of the page. Wha? emoticon

Clue #3: I discovered it last night when I went to see Hamlet 2.

Amy's ... Mural .... Theater

Amy's.

I'm worried that this is too far and too difficult...time will tell!

Hamlet 2: I was expecting it to be funnier (especially the beginning), but I did enjoy it. My favorite line was when Jesus said, "My father's gonna crucify me!" I liked the second half of it better than the first.

Well, we had our haunted location on this tag also, if i'm correct the first location was the Driskill Cafe, right?
