A Murder of Vespa'
A few of our current collection and a couple of bikes recently sold.
LML NV had SIP race body accessories cut down front mudguard, led tail/brake light, underneath scoop, drop bar headset, racing seat, aftermarket side panels with wire mesh vents on the front of the panel for a little extra to cool things down, diamond plated steel floorboards, kitted with a Polini 171 head and piston performance enhancer for a good boost in horsepower and top and bottom pulling and quicker, upgraded shocks, JL expansion chamber to maximizing the Polini kit and loud enough so motorist can hear it coming behind or when it was passing them.

Not a real P, but still...
This could be considered cheating, because this lady is a T5, but this is how she came to me and I love her...

T5bitza69 wrote: t5 lump in a px frame ...... how very dare you 😆 ..... mine are a mk1 n a classic There were no motovespa's "classic" T5, but a TX200 model, mounting 200 engine into T5 sport frames. T5s nikasil piston & barrel were not enough rock-solid for spanish vespa users. T5 sales were poor and Motovespa profited the unsold T5 frames launching the more popular TX200. The stile of this frames is not appreciated and many t5 & tx have (sadly) been cut to PX style. And another bit of Motovespa, my 1987 PX200E "Iris" (arcobaleno, lusso) Elestart. |

Here is my 1979 P200E which I've just gotten back on the road after long rehabilitation. Tim at Galaxy Scooters reassembled it after I dismantled it to rid the body of rust and get it painted. Originally it was ridden in SF and then garaged near the beach for more than 30 years. I bought it from Scooter Bellissimo here in 2011. Still needs a little tuning.

Bought a Stella
So, I picked up this 2012 Stella a couple of weeks ago for $250.
Under 700 miles. It isn't as pretty as my P200E, but for the money I couldn't say no. |

Here's my 2008 LML Star after few improvements.
Made a new custom seat with a small italian flag at the back, did some tyre painting and I've installed a front rack. |

seamus26 wrote: That's super pretty. What work does it need? But, it's sat for 3 years. If you look at the right side floorboard, you can see it's covered in oil/grease. Same for underneath the floorboard and all over the rear wheel. The kickstart goes down, but does not return on it's own. And of course, a lot of the rubber pieces are rotted and need replacing. For $400 and only 1200 miles though, i couldn't pass it up... |
