Thanks, Touring300. This is going to replace my Burgman 650 which was getting too heavy for me to handle / maneuver. Vespa is much lighter, almost 1/2 the weight of the Burgie which I simply loved and enjoyed riding. Looking forward to many rides/miles on the Vespa. About the only thing I will miss is the vast amount of storage space on that Burgie.
Attaching an image of the Burgie for reference.

Hello from Manila, here's my GTS 300 Supertech.

Half the fun of ownership is the endless customization options! Been getting so many ideas from this forum as well

Cheers!

That's beautiful. I love the wheels. Just the carrier spoils the scooters lines a bit. Anyway, I have saved that picture to my collection of beautiful Vespas.

Having the exhaust heat shield black makes such a difference to the looks.

Wow, do they really require you to flank out the rego and WOF detail like that in your country?
Here is NZ, we get a little plastic 'sleeve' into which we insert all the rego and WOF stamps etc into, then screw it behind the license plate so it's not in your face so to speak.

No, the only display requirement is the rear registration number plate. The little card attached to the number plate by a bulldog clip is purely for the photograph. The photo was taken as part of the Vespa Club of Britain Regional Riders competition where you visit landmarks and locations in your region of the country and take a snap as evidence of your being there. The laminated card is to show my name and membership number for the same reason. We don't need to display any tax or MOT (WOF) documentation as it's all recorded electronically.

I like that shade of grey. What is the tab on the bottom of the license plate; red reflector?
Why are balls hanging off the tree.
nothing to do but magnify images.
I agree with you, the red cat eye reflector at the bottom of license plate was one of the first things I removed from my SS HPE, together with those unsightly front fender orange reflectors still required by the outdated law in many western countries.
