Made it home. The 2 hr journey turned into nearly 3 thanks to an absolute PELTER of a thunderstorm through Westminster but though soaked I managed to keep him rubber side down.

I was "Vespaing" around my neighborhood and ran into my father on his.

Here it is, bought it five months ago and I already have 1300 miles on it. I like how it's different shades of the same color in different light.

Hey all. New to the group. Picked up my new GTS Super Sport yesterday and took her through the hills above Portland and over the St. Johns Bridge for my first trip. Love this scooter so much.

One more, for the heck of it. This is on Sauvie Island, a great spot about 20 miles or so outside of Portland, OR. This completes about 130 miles since I brought it home yesterday afternoon. I should probably put it back in the garage now...

Search on Amazon (or your favorite Ram Ball provider) for "Ram Ball Cup Holder". I use it as a catch all for scarf, key, parking passes, skull cap, batteries, etc., but I've never used one for a drink

Our 'Toybox' overfloweth...though the Royal Enfield 650 may be sold by this afternoon, so the herd may be a bit thinner soon.

Picked up the 2023 GTS300 Supertech a few weeks ago just added the top case and flyscreen. Love it drive it every day around the Harrisburg area and Westshore. So many great back roads to explore.

I put on my taller windshield I can enjoy my cigars much better.

The Royal Enfield has now gone on to it's new home and owner.

I am now, for the first time in over a decade, down to only two bikes, my Triumph Rocket 3R, and of course....my GTS300.

I'm sure it went to a good home.

I installed a flyscreen and a rear rack on my new GTS. Really loving this scooter. Just got back from its 625 mile service, where it also got a new ECU... Uhg.

It's the Piaggio one. Got it from ScooterWest. It's apparently specific to the 2023 GTSs. Pretty happy with it. Seems good quality. It should be for the price!

I have the clear version en route from SIP (since the scooterwest site is so horrendously difficult to log into). arrives tomorrow.

Good to know, im putting one on mine soon. I missed the ECU comment? What happened?

Long story short... I've owned the GTS now since July 8, and it's been in the shop a total of two weeks since I bought it. It would stall on first start (when cold usually) but start right up on second start.

Techs couldn't figure it out initially, then they found a code that indicated a communication error between the ECU and the electronic key system. Or something. I dunno. They swapped out the ECU and I just got it back, so I won't really know if it worked until I start it up again cold, in the morning.

If this doesn't fix the issue I'm kinda out of options I think.

Well keep us updated. I'm super curious. First time I have heard of this issue. I got mine in February. Been running great so far, knock on wood.

Weird.

Mine keeps having an issue with the "welcome/goodbye" over and over not recognizing the fob when I go to turn it on. I hit the bottom button and it works fine, so i've just assumed i've been compressing the button in my pocket at some point during the day. it's intermittent at best, and i've only had it die once or twice since April when starting cold. (i've had key recognition issues on my gti as well, so i think my instance is more just inherent issues with the concept itself rather than vehicle-specific)

Well, you should just be pushing the big black knob in then twist after you get the welcome screen. The black knob on the scooter. No need to push any buttons on the fob itself. It's also important to keep the fob out of range from the scooter when not in use.

All of this happening? When you push the big black knob in on the scooter you get screens that says welcome then it goes right back to goodbye? Also, change the battery in the fob key itself....

I'm aware of this. I've owned it since April and have over 2k miles on it. I use it plenty, and know how to start it up. It cycles very rapidly with welcome goodbye welcome goodbye back and forth about 6-8 times, then it says to place the fob near the receiver. as if the fob isn't actively transmitting to the scooter. pushing the bottom button "unlocks" the fob and it transmits. which leads me to believe i'm just hitting that button at some point in my pocket while riding or during the duty day before i head home.
