Thanks for the update. I wonder if the seat cover will be less slippery as you ride it more. I took the OEM seat off my GTV and put a GTS seat in its place just to avoid constantly sliding forward.

Welcome. Time will tell on decreased slipperiness. I don't mind it as I don't find a problem sliding forward and like to be able to move around easily. I am sure Suzy could address whether a given material would be slippery. The blue carbon has that shiny finish, also slippery.

Also, clothing will surely impact that as well, the pants I was wearing are thin and smooth.

You're right, I forgot how much the type of pants changes things. I mostly wear nylon Columbia cargo pants in the summer. They are slicker than snot on a doorknob no matter what the seat is made of.

Sunrise over DC and the Washington Monument, last one for a while of this view, getting repetitive and sunlight reflecting off the new cover showing the different shades depending on light.

Out and about. Marine Corps Memorial (one of my favorite places especially at sunrise), Air Force Memorial from a distance to get it all in, and the five-sided building although not panoramic.

Thanks. That spot is right by our house on Fort Myer so I get to see it daily. Never tire of that view with the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

The start of a new journey. With my origin divided between southern Italy and the Netherlands, I have always had a strong connection with the traditions of Salento. Good food, tasty wine, a relaxed lifestyle, strong coffee and of course the bee and the wasp. As a child, seeing thousands whizz by but always postponed due to my down-to-earth and practical Dutch genes.

Time to let my heart speak. This lady, a white innocent, has barely driven 500km and has been my new and hopefully faithful road companion since last month. During her maiden ride I took her to a castle in the Netherlands for a photo session. She could visibly enjoy it.

I went to the shop intent on buying the light green one, but then saw the beige one like yours and bought that instead. Most beautiful Vespa I have ever owned.

But I have painted the transmission cover and exhaust heatshield black.

Hello from La Grange Kentucky! Here is my 2009.

At our shop they have a shop-custom version in which ALL chrome has been replaced by matte blacks. Including the logo's and the trims.

I did that black-out with my blue 2015 model, but I think the chrome looks good on this one - I've even come to accept the chrome around the instruments.

A smart decision and the red Piaggio badge is a lovely touch.

Love the blue Gts great looking scooter.

I'm thinking a Bitubo front shock with a red spring would look great too, but I don't know how much riding benefit I would get with it on a 2023 model.

Probably plenty once the factory one needs replaced in a few years.
