Since the South seceded for the OC union, I propose a new Orange County Photo Tag. Since there is a South County thread, we will focus more on other parts of the County, but I don't want it to limit this thread geographically and it will still cover the entire County (and maybe a little into other counties if needed). However, if you feel more comfortable with South County sights and locales, please don't hesitate to post on the South Orange County thread.

Yes, there may be gaps in time while we get to the next one, but all are encouraged to play. No whining please, get on your scoot and get that tag instead. If it's a far distance, make an adventure out of it.

That's hilarious! I didn't mean for the main thread to get turned into a South County only thread, especially since the last tag was in North County.

I didn't notice the other thread had become South only until I saw this new OC thread. The big red letters telling everyone to split up was a crack-up! In any event, I hope it means the game will get played more often!

Yes, people were wanting North County tags because the game had been stuck in the south for a few weeks. There was nothing wrong with your tag ... guess people just weren't getting out much up there.

Don't worry about it Mandi. I knew by where you were located it would probably be a bit of a space between tags. There just isn't as many players up in that part of the County and it can take a little while for people to break free with a little spare time. I didn't predict how it turned out though.

I don't know if this NoOC tag will take off with any gusto or not, we all may just be driving south...

edit - The 5 was closed for part of the day today (Tues) due to the fire on Pendleton. I don't think it's contained yet. Not looking good for a ride up tomorrow. Anyone else have time to grab it?

I'm going to try to snag it today if I can carve out some time...

Hey, sounds like you are back up and riding. Great. You should know where this one is. I was limited by time, so this tag is quite limited in distance as well.

Yep back up and riding. Knee surgery went well, now just to get full strength and movement out of it. Been riding for a week now. Of course no time last night but I will get it this weekend if not beat out by someone else as I think it is all of 5-10 minutes from my house.

I was able to snag this tag on the way to the Apple Ride. What a glorious day it was.



..and yes this sign was near Yardsales clues, right near the Gypsum Canyon exit off of the 91 Freeway. I think it is on Santa Ana Canyon Road right near the exit...



Next tag coming soon. It was too late by the time I got back fro mthe ride to catch anything....stay tuned.

In honor of Veteran's Day I thought this tag would be appropriate. There really is no more uniquely north OC spot than this to honor our Veterans. This shouldn't be a hard tag to find, but it's probably a place most OCers didn't know existed.

Not to make this too easy, but what large population of refugees from a war overseas landed to reside in the OC? Probably the largest population outside their own native country.
