Modern Vespa

I know this one is real old, but I just got my bike and joined this forum so I thought I might play catchup. They all look like places worth riding to. I'd seen this cool building from the interstate a number of times but never really had an excuse to take a closer look.

Is the Children's Science center the next tag? Or are we still looking for the Richard Nixon Library?

I think the Library is the tag to get, I just can't seem to get there...

So this thread has gone stagnant... I've decided to play, but since there was doubt as to which location was the tag, I got both.

So I stopped playing before the secession of South Orange County. I'm not sure of the rules for this tread. Is it still open to the entire OC or just the north /south? I've tagged the spot and have posted a new spot in North Orange County. If I need to change the new tag to a South Orange County spot, let me know!

To address jmoec1's question, it looks to me like your tag is fine Now, if I could just remember where that is *scratches noggin* I have some time to ride on Friday. Maybe I can get up to OC to look around.

Yeah, I think I remember the rules. I find it funny that the simple idea of finding one spot and then posting a new one had gone so far astray. I think I remember why I bought my scooter! Oh yeah, it was so that I could get out there and just scoot....

Thanks! My 250 ruck is a labor of love, a pain in the ass to keep tip-top (its got an 86 Helix motor in it) but worth every minute spent riding it

Sure thing:

it's visible from the 55fwy, near an overpass, going southbound between the 405 and the 5 fwys, though lately it's been parked farther away, but you can still see it through the trees.

I am so glad to see the game resurrected a bit. It's been a while since I even checked because I thought it might have died.

Western Exterminators on Ritchey Ave. in Santa Ana. This was tough since Western's website does not list this location. The only way I found it was to search on "Fence Menders" I could see in the background of the tag picture. Pictures always reveal a little something extra....

I did not have time (really enough daylight) to get the next tag, so you will have to stay tuned. I will post it tomorrow before the weekend.

Lets see, this centrally located place is very artistic as well as historic. Also you can get good southern food and a high-proof cocktail here as well.

I don't reconize it either, Perhaps if I drank booz I would know where it is. I don't have any idea where in the OC it could be, Santa Monica was just a wild guess. What SM isn't part of the OC?

Hmmmm, the last good southern food I ate in California was in San Francisco, and that definitely ain't in Orange County. Another clue please? Just a small one - for those of us who haven't lived here that long (and don't get out much)...

I rode around OC yesterday. I thought this location was in or near the circle at Chapman and Glassell in Orange. "Plaza Square" is the heart of the City's Old Towne Historic District. It's historic (even in the name) and artistic (film / media schools nearby and tons of antique stores). There are lots of two-story buildings, some with ornate ironwork, lots of outdoor cafes, etc.
I was wrong, though. Rode around for about an hour without success. Had to console myself by going to Westminster for Korean spring rolls, Costa Mesa for my favorite quit shop and Corona del Mar for my favorite nursery. Great day but no tagging.
