Hey Everyone. Who is up for a Monday night scooter meetup?

Philippe The Original is turning 100 this year and they are celebrating by offering sandwiches at .10 after 4pm on Monday.

In addition, coffee will be .05 and special guests will be: Roger the Peanut Man, Huell Howser ... And more, so check out the website.

Where: Philippe The Original, 1001 N. Alameda Street, LA CA 90012 (1 block N of Union Station)
Why: To hang out where Anthony Bourdain and the Derby Dolls like to scarf down French Dips and meet scooter folk.

We can even do a ride around Dtown if you all are up for it, so I ask shall we ride before or after we eat?

I've always wanted to try their French Dip.

Personally, I couldn't get down there till about 6:30 though . . . so maybe a ride afterward?

me 2! I saw it on anthony bourdain and have been craving it since. lets see what everyone gets back with maybe we can all meet up around 5:45-6 and hang out and wait for everyone to arrive. eat. and then do a ride around Dtown? should be fun!

FOR SURE! I am sure the place will be swamped, just as it is everyday at lunch!!! But, most scooter-folk can't get there till about 6-6:30 .... So, lets hope they don't sell out Will you be there?

I may actually have a Monday afternoon meeting downtown, which would work out great. Not sure yet, but it's a possibility. How early are you planning on being there?

i'd love to make it, but i'm a westsider and that is a long drive after work, then another long drive back home. for a ten cent french dip, i may just have to do it. anyways, what happened to the LA scooter tag?

I may be there a bit early - so if you wanna coma early too! This event has been promoted, so expect that there will be a ton of people.

I'll have a short ride planned out around DTown (maybe we will ride the "art walk"), should we all feel up to it. But, more than anything it will be a cool place to hang out and MEET AND EAT!

Did you see that line? WOW! It went around the restaurant, up the street, around the corner, wound through a parking lot and then down a city block! CRaZy! So, we waited till about 730 and then took off to "The Pantry" ... Good Times! Great to hang with you all.
