I just started working on my 94 Px 200.
two gay ago i dismantled the vespa and carred it to the my 4th floor apartment, whitout elevator.
and started to work on the body, i scrape off the paint and bondo (body filler) from the side panels, and spread anti rust chemical.
tomorro i will take the chassis to weld the tow holes in some welder shop nearby.
some pic from my progres:

PX In Israel
Just a few years ago I was looking at Vespa's website for each different County and found that Israel, Australia and the Pacific Rim still listed the PX200 as a available model. I assume because they don't fall under Euro emissions standards. Do you know this to be true?

I wish they would of sold the PX200 in the US at a reasonable price unlike the PX150's they sold here for almost 5000 USD with Tax. -michael

in Israel we have 120% tax on vehicles, so PX200 (we don't have PX150) is sold arond 6500$, and vespa GTS250 arond 9200$, don't ask how much the big bike price is. even the second-hand bikes and scoters are very expensive.

You can still find new PX200's to buy in Australia, the last of those that were built. They've now ceased production, so when those last ones are gone, they're gone.

If I had a spare AU$6500 lying around (ha!) I'd grab one, but..oh well...

They are no longer being imported to Australia from Italy, as far as I know. There are indeed some still trickling around the country. I'm told you can only really get black and silver now. Blue is drying up fast, white is well and truely over.

I picked up a last of the last "black" PX200 3 weeks ago. I absolutely love it!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you painted that P and now it
looks like it came from Vietnam. I suppose since that the Viet-bodges
always come in two tone.. I no longer can look at a two-tone Vespa the
same.

That's just my opinion. If it were mine, I would stick to a single color of
paint, preferably its stock color or a classic vespa color.

One way to avoid this accusation/ impression would be to always tape up the tag in the leg shield that identifies the country of original import and any dealer tags.
